As we promised on the show, here are some commonly asked questions that many ask when it comes to the care of their skin.

Describe what skin is and why we should use a daily skincare system?

The skin is the largest organ in the human body; it is the most complex organ system; plus, for what we are talking about, it is the body's largest organ of elimination. The epidermis, which is the top layer of skin, receives the most exposure from eliminates of (excreted body wastes). As one grows older this is nature's sign of aging skin. Also, this is where daily skin abuse shows. It is why it is so important to use a skincare regimen to combat the damage caused by nature, eliminates (discharge of wastes), improper skincare, etc.

I have noticed lines and wrinkles around my eyes and mouth. Why do we develop lines and wrinkles?

The eyes are the first indication of signs of aging. That is because the eyes have no natural oil glands. This means it is important to help nature by applying emollients (an agent that softens or soothes the skin) to help restore the natural moisture back into the skin. For our natural ingredients eye crème, go here.

It is not uncommon for the mouth to develop lines and wrinkles through facial expressions. There is a true saying that says, "We use less facial muscles to smile than to frown".

Why should we use facial cleansers ?

A cleanser allows you to cleanse the pores to eliminate (excreted body wastes) bacteria and dirt from the outside that can also clog the skin pores.

Some people have the method that it is better not use a skincare system. As the skin age it is essential to use a skincare regimen. What are facial molds? There are several types of molds, but facial molds develop from excessive moisture, sweat, dirt and bacteria. Facial molds love this type of skin environment. This is why it is important to use a proper skincare system to help kill facial bacteria.

I have problem with my skin getting dark spots and blemishes. Why do I get this problem, and what can I do to treat my skin?

Skin types can be affected by our lifestyle. There's a saying that says we are what we eat: so, your skin is what you eat. This is why it is important to balance our bodies with dieting, eating nutritional foods, exercising, drinking 6-8 glasses of water daily and getting 8 hours of sleep daily. Foods that have no nutritional value can clog the pores and emerge on the surface of the skin as toxins. Sometimes, this can be very unpleasant.

If you are experiencing dark spots and blemishes, a good recommendation is to begin a skin detoxification program. This will help to cleanse out your pores, help to eliminate unwanted toxins, also, allow the skin to begin healing itself. Learn about our detoxification program here.

I notice when I eat cheese, dairy foods or hot dogs, I break out with hives and boils. What should I do?

When you eat or drink certain foods and beverages, and then develop hives or skin rashes, this could be an indication that you have sensitive skin, that it is experiencing an allergic reaction. Quit eating those foods. Some people are just allergic to dairy, others to wheat, but it could be many, many different things. Learn how your body works. If this happens, it may be helpful to consult a holistic physician.
