Top Three Types of Exercises To Aide Detoxification

IT'S ME! taking a break from helping clean my daughters apartment AND helping with my detox process!!

I have discovered during this journey to wellness that there are exercises that not only help me to firm and tone, they also help me to detoxify!!  I love the idea of doing exercises that take care of more than half of my goals on my wellness list: getting in shape, dropping a few pounds, releasing stress and detoxifying my body!

Moves To Help Facilitate DeToxing The Body
 Exercise is essential when it comes to detoxifying the body.  Exercise helps the body to circulate both blood and lymph. The more blood and lymph circulate the more the liver and kidney can purify and cleanse the blood.  Also when you exercise you increase the amount of oxygen in your blood which helps with elimination. 

Here are my top three type of exercises that I enjoy doing.

Yoga is a great exercise for detox.  Not only does it get the blood pumping but it also stimulates organs that are important in the digestive and elimination process.   These moves stimulate the circulatory, digestive and lymphatic system.  I now have added these moves to my morning Asana and I always feel fantastic afterwards! Rebounding is basically jumping on a trampoline! Not only can it help detox the body it is really FUN!!!   According to Bruce Fife author of the DeTox Book "“The up-and-down motion compresses and decompresses the body tissues and fluids. Toxins are squeezed out of cells and tissues as lymph fluid is pushed throughout the body. Rebound exercise is the best lymph-pumping exercise known. As a results of this pumping action, toxins are washed out of tissues throughout the entire body and flushed out. Rebound exercise is such an effective detoxifier that it can initiate a healing crisis in a matter of days.”  Start off simple and safe with a minute or two a day and you will begin to see a difference in your balance, your heart will start pumping and you will feel more energized and most importantly this movement will help you elimination process! Walking is also an excellent exercise to help with detoxing. When you briskly, your oxygen uptake is increased, in addition to enhancing lymphatic and blood circulation and toning the muscles. Walking promotes elimination of toxins and waste materials from the body through sweating.  (I love doing Yoga Walking)
