5 Tips to Deal With Anxiety, Depress and Stress During the Pandemic
Do you more feel, stressed, overwhelmed, tired and anxious on most days? Have these feelings increase during the Pandemic?
Know that you are not alone. Many of us have felt that way. I know I have. Many women experience anxiety, depression, stress, and even feelings of imposter syndrome in so-called "normal" times. These feelings have increased since the pandemic.
I have a list of symptoms that I want to show you, and tips for how you can effectively manage your stress and move away from the negative feelings and symptoms you are feeling. We have to be honest with ourselves so that we can be the V.I.B.E. (vibrant, intuitive, beautiful, emerged) women that we want to be.
Here are some of the symptoms for those emotions I mentioned earlier:
SYMPTOMS:
Anxiety:
Nervousness, restless or feeling tense
Feeling weak or tired
Having difficulty controlling your worry
Depression:
Insomnia almost every night
Restlessness and feeling slower than usual
Stress:
Feeling angry or irritable
The mind is constantly running with worry
Imposter Syndrome:
Self-Doubt
Fear that you will not live up to others' expectations. (usually assuming what their expectation is)
TIPS:
Anxiety:
Starting your day off on a positive note by meditating or making time for breakfast.
Exercise to reduce stress and to calm the mind.
Depression:
Setting small goals for yourself that are achievable
Challenge the negative thoughts that are going on in your mind, and who is saying them. Meditating helps to naturally reduce stress and feeling overwhelmed.
Stress:
Use essential oils that will aid in stress reduction
Breathing techniques to help slow down rising stress.
Imposter Syndrome:
Separate what you feel from what is known to be true.
Break the silence of admitting that you feel this way. Admit to what you think of all the time.
These are just a few things you can do to approach your feelings from a holistic standpoint. To find out more about how to decrease stress, as well as deal with other issues regarding anxiety, depression, and imposter syndrome, go to:
