De Stress The Mess - Starting Your Day

I have found that how you start your day many times will determine how the rest of  your day will go. It took me awhile to establish what I wanted to do to start the day in a positive way.

When my four daughters were very young I found that the only time I had to myself was the early morning. I began to crave those couple of hours during the day before they rose to just be quite with my cup of tea or coffee and reflect abo9ut  Overtime I began to add journaling. I would write about what happened  the day before, talk about my frustrations and sometimes anger about what was going on with raising 4 very young children. I would write about my husband , my career that was on hold, how tired I was, how insecure I felt about my abilities as a mom...anything that came to mind.  After a few months of getting up early in the morning and spending those hours basically venting I decided I need to at least prepare myself for a positive day by actually DOING something positive to start …

What's Making Me Thankful For Today
Of course, the topic on everyone’s mind is yesterday’s horrific bombing in Boston. I thought about it all day yesterday, went to bed thinking about it, and woke up at 2:00 am thinking about it.
This morning, I’m still thinking about it.

But something’s changed since yesterday. Now, I’m thinking about all the people who immediately stepped up to the challenge and began helping those around them at the scene.I started thinking about all those people who in the midst of the tragedy didn’t run for their lives. Instead, they stayed and assisted the injured. In other words, they helped.Helpers are not as rare as we might believe. They are everywhere…

Juicing vs Blending - What is the difference when it comes to our health and wellness?

The amazing Annette Larkin -Here is an interview we did with her on "The Wellness Journey!" What are the different health benefits of Juicing vs. Blending?reprint from youngandraw.comWhy Juice?
Juices are really amazing healing drinks.  Juices are particularly good for people who have damaged digestive systems, who have difficulty digesting vegetables, or are ill in any other way.  This is due to the fact that removing the fibre releases all of the nutrients from those plants, without your body having to do any work.
Juices are great to have when you want to do a cleanse of your body.  This is because your body will not be putting any effort towards digestion, so all that energy can be directed to ridding the body of built up waste and toxins. Juicing allows the body to focus on healing while still providing nutrients to your body that would not be present during a water fast.  Juices are also awesome for supporting the healing of a damaged gut, and a plethora of …
