Eating These Foods Will Promote Health and Wellness For Your Body




There are some foods in particular that are full of nutrients and have wonderful qualities that can improve the overall health and wellness of your body. Try some of these foods to get those “must have” nutrients for your best body!
  • Salmon – Full of Omega 3 Fatty Acids Salmon and other foods will Omega 3 Fatty Acids are key to boosting your skins defense system against UV damage.   Scientist have found that Omega 3 acts as a shield by protecting the cell walls from free radical damage.  If you happen not to be a Salmon lover you can also take an Omega 3 Fatty Acid supplement that will also help to boost your skins defense system from free radicals.
  • Blueberries – You can lower your blood pressure and increase the “good” HDL  cholesterol by eating a cup of mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, cranberries) everyday for 8 weeks.  Studies have found eating berries are an excellent source of anti-oxidants and help to improve heart health.
  • Tomatoes – Any food rich in Vitamin C such as tomatoes, oranges, lemons, broccoli, and strawberries will help improve the texture of your skin.  Scientist have found that Vitamin C has something  to do with lowering the chance of wrinkled skin, and dry skin that is so common for middle aged women.  Vitamin C is full of anti-oxidants, which help block ultra violet rays.
  • Green Beans -This vegetable is very high in fiber and just like other high fiber food it can help with promoting  weight loss.  Studies have shown that increased fiber in take will help with weight loss, while decreased fiber can cause weight gain.  Try this  increasing your fiber by 16 grams by eating green beans, chickpeas, strawberries, and raspberries.  Increasing your fiber will help fill you up and as a result you will eat less and begin to loose weight.
