Over The Hill At 40? No Way! Move Beyond Your Limiting Beliefs & Thrive After 40

The last few years I have met some amazing women over 40, 50 and 60  who are truly pursuing their passions. I have learned that in many ways life really starts over 40.  These wonderful women have influenced me to reach for the stars and pursue my after 50 dreams.  I believe that it is important for women to have a dream to reach for that is outside their everyday role of wife, mother, daughter,sister, employee and so on.

We all have something that we want to do something that we are passionate about, something that we truly believe is our "calling".  But in order to do this, we need to move past our limiting beliefs and begin to believe that we can be successful in pursuing our dreams.

Here are some steps that can help you move past any negative self-doubt and move toward your ultimate success:



· Identify The Self-Limiting Belief – take time to identify those thoughts that you know are limiting and negative. Once you have identified them make the choice to move past those limiting beliefs. 

· Thing about those experiences that have been positive  and successful – Flip the script and think about the time when things did go well, Remember how it felt to be successful and excited about your success.  Tell yourself if you did it before you can do it again!

· Motivate and Challenge Yourself If you have overcome difficult situations before you can overcome them again.  Start telling yourself that no matter how high the mountain is you can and will climb it.  Tell yourself that you have the faith and trust move past any obstacles.
  
· Visualize – Everyday visualize how you want your life to be. See yourself moving beyond obstacles and challenges.   See victory and success as part of your immediate future.  Focus on what it takes to get you there.
